For this lesson, Used a sequence of pictures of burglars (see 'Sentence Level Work' Tenses).
One child acted out breaking into the classroom to steal something - as the children called out what he was doing, I
labelled the verbs on the pictures (projected onto a whiteboard).
Differentiation

HA wrote their own alibi explaining what they did one day of the murder
